AKASHA

If we are to believe these manifestations divine and we have no reason for doubt, we must also seek within our heart to understand their meaning. On this day April 28, 2010, deep in reverence, a fiery light appeared during moments of splendor. As we continued a service of gifting, a shower of rose-colored light, an Andean condor, and a rainbow appeared to us. These events were preceded a short while earlier by the manifestation of a brilliant light near the river as we embarked upon our pilgrimage to the Sanctuary. Of course, all things are open to interpretation. We have spent long hours in contemplation with these images. We see here and in our inner vision, a brilliant sword -- a flaming sword, that according to scripture not only guarded the Gate to Paradise but also revealed Paradise open. In this earthly garden deep in the Peruvian Andes, sacred to the Inca and to the tens of thousands of spiritual pilgrims who come seeking refreshment of body, mind and spirit, why then should we be surprised that God is listening? With heartfelt, unconditional love, we prayed that day for Peace.

Blessed are these images. Astonishing, yes! Yet simple and forthright. With thoughtful contemplation we seek to understand the immensity of what is shown. We find comfort in the simple fact that love, is the key. Each time we pour forth loving intention we heal ourselves and we heal one another. It is well and good that we think on these things. If we wish to live in a perfect world we must imagine it into being, our birthright.

More then a decade ago 50 healers gathered together to honor an extraordinary journey, to pray for peace and embrace the beauty of this sacred place, Machu Picchu. In a tiny, cramped, quartz-laden alcove we came together in gratitude whereupon two brilliant spheres of light manifested in direct response. One encircled the other, appearing to us as a vesica piscis. Two years later and within days following the 9/11 tragedy in New York city, we returned. As the world reeled from the horror, we prayed in Machu Picchu. In response, once again appeared an extraordinary manifestation the lightcross. Nine years later, at dawn on April 28, 2010, accompanied by our dear friend, Jaime, who led us in Quechua prayer (as well as our own spiritual traditions), there appeared the miraculous brilliant flaming sword.

Nearly all photos were taken from the quartz-laden alcove at Machu Picchu, Peru, over a period of eleven years beginning in 1999. We understand that the blessed does reveal in extraordinary ways and in direct response to heartfelt prayer. This extraordinary world is a reflection of our own inner compass. If our heart is fearful, if we are full of doubt, anger, or are lost there is a solution. Love. Love more ardently. Truly, all things are possible with love.

Magnificent Machu Picchu

What is this sweet sensation reflected in earth, stone, skin, bone? Life emerges here, wet piercing reminder of cycles unending. Tourists pass and pause, breathe in this sweet knowing. I have lived a thousand life times and I have lived here before. Visitors weave in and out, meander through the grotto follow their official guide, so many stories. The Incas left no written record, no journal of intent. Yet here among the stones all is known, etched in shadow and light. People gather around the capstone, solar pyramid, Intihuatana (inti-watana), mouths agape. "My God, what is this place?" Chatter ensues. Explanations abound. "It is a fortress. Incan outpost!" the guide expounds. Her secrets remaining shielded. Whether consciously aware or not, every person is touched by her beauty. Exposed, she opens herself, allows access. In the cool shade of granite I take in the whole of Machu Picchu. Panoramic terraced walls sweep up at every turn, nook and cranny, zigzag serpentine maze.

It is a magnificent July winters day. Gentle breezes cool hot stone. Dormant orchids sway and crackle all around. She has loveliness for sale. I have sought this beauty wide-eyed, open hearted pleading her favors. And she has been generous. My appointed moment arrived like a thief in the night, turned my world upside down, then right-side-up again. - Kathy Doore

My sojourn began over two decades ago at Machu Picchu, Peru. While in prayer and meditation in the dead of night, I was struck by lightning. I screamed, believing I was on fire. This was soon followed by a night-long visionary experience wherein I was taken on a holgraphic journey, shown the akashic history and viewed the blue-green planet from space. I awoke, glowing. Later realizing that an internal fire had shot up through my body exiting at my crown, I began to understand the energetic association with kundalini--the uncoiling of the vital life force. Thus began the most extraordinary and wondrous adventure of my life. A life long odyssey into the Mysteries.

After a bumpy start navigating the dramatic and life altering effects of kundalini, I found tools to support my journey including work with the labyrinth. Subsequently, I returned to Peru to design and install meditation gardens. It was around this time that a little known carving in stone, hidden for eons in the sacred sanctuary of Machu Picchu, revealed itself as a marker of resonance, connecting the site with an ancient grid and far away places. The sanctuary began to speak to me in unimaginable ways. I was encouraged to continue this work. Indeed, to devote my life to this path. I returned nearly every year for the next two decades. Others of like-mind who similarly felt this deep connection, began to journey with me. At the completion of my ninth year, I returned with nearly 50 healers in tow. Our mission: to infuse an extraordinary catalyst into the very fiber of the inner sanctum of Machu Picchu, the Crystal City of Light.

Upon first entering the Sanctuary we were guided to pour forth prayers of intention, cleansing the energy signature encoded in stone and successfully accessing the etheric gateway to the higher vibrational heart center of Machu Picchu. Revealed was a brilliant light that to our eyes appeared as a Vesica Piscis, the Holy of Holies. Thus began the second decade of service.

The following year a collective vision unfolded, allowing for the opening of a dormant star chamber. Astonishing synchronicity connected us with the enigmatic crop formations in England appearing simulataneously with our service in Peru, confirmed our vision. Events progressed when a glorious rainbow formed over the Sanctuary, and a message of hope was received.

On the heels of the horrific events of September 11, 2001, we were charged with a sacred mission: to infuse an extraordinary catalyst of PURE LOVE into the very fiber of the Sanctuary, and ultimately the Planet. Two days of focused healing intent culminated in an explosion of crystallized light, a wondrous confirmation of the co-creative force - the unrealized potential for humanity.

THE LIGHTCROSS

"Late Sept. 2001 we made our way to the quartz-laden alcove seeking guidance in the wake of devastation, preparing offerings and lifting our voices magnificence poured forth. Mindfully, blissfully, beholding splendor and unable to stand I crawled back in the alcove to lie in the straw, basking in the exquisite moment. Peg remained shooting photos, capturing moments of grandeur punctuated by silhouettes of mountains appearing through soft, gray haze. The miracle was manifest. Weeks later her remarkable photo captured the divinely appointed moment."

We have returned often over the past several years. In 2010 the diverse group of healers, educators, and shamans came together with a common vision. With heartfelt conviction the miracle was received. The extraordinary legacy of Machu Picchu, secreted for eons, embraced by those of good heart, is a mirror, reflecting back. Munay-Ki!

“Joy, beautiful spark of the gods, Daughter of Elysium, touched with fire,
to the portal, of thy radiant shrine, we come. Your sweet magic frees all others, held in
Custom's rigid rings. All men on earth become brothers, in the haven of your wings.”

- Friedrich Schiller, Beethoven's Ode to Joy

“Seraphim are the highest order of angels and are considered to be beings of pure light and pure love. They dwell at the Throne of God. However, they can manifest in our world. It is said that they shine so bright that any, save for the pure of heart, would be incinerated in their presence. According to Renaissance thought, the Seraphim are a different type of human being, a fully transfigured one. Their bodies are immortal bodies of light and are therefore able to hold the highest frequencies of love and light. We can become Seraphim by meditating exclusively on the love of the Creator, say Renaissance thinkers. Seraphim are portrayed in Christian art surrounding the Throne of God, guarding the (Star) Gate of Eden.” William Henry

David Carson, author, Medicine Cards
“There is a lot of talk about sacred portals existing in Peru . But you don't have to
go there, the book, Markawasi, is indeed such a doorway. Here is the mystery, magic
and wonder bequeathed by the ancients. Reading this book was an entrance to a
world of timelessness and great beauty.”
