Many fine books have been written on pilgrimage and the awakening process, including the rising of the kundalini. Throughout the ages ordinary people have encountered different levels of kundalini activation as their experience spontaneously unfolds. When this energy rises it activates our inherit light codes and the otherworldly abilities associated with them. The kundalini is not a mysterious force, although it may seem so at the time, but quite simply our life force connection to the Divne.

If you seek true enlightenment you must take the inner journey. However, you need not experience the utter and complete unfolding of the inner fire to come away with gifts. Its what you bring to the moment that's important. You can make giant leaps or take small baby steps in your unfolding. This is your special gift to yourself, when you are ready for it. The sacred place is, of course, within. But it is the magic of these outer places that can facilitate years of questing into single moments of pure illumination. And that is why we go.

The Machu Picchu Meditation
Remembering Who You Are

Begin by closing your eyes . . . and give yourself permission to fully relax allowing yourself to have this experience and know you are safe.  

You may sit or lay… keeping your spine straight.   

With your eyes closed become aware of your breath and the rhythm of your breath – just let it slow down.   

Slowly breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.  

taking several deep cleansing breaths in and out,  

in and out,  

in and out.  

Imagine all your worries, fears and mind chatter flowing out of you with each exhalation.  

As you continue this deep rhythmic breathing,
begin to relax your BODY… 

Relax … 

Relax your toes.  

Your feet,  

Relax you Knees,  

Relax your Thighs,  

Relax your Stomach muscles.  

Relax the area around your Heart and Lungs, and breathe.  

All tension flows out of your Shoulders and your Neck, and breathe.  

Relax your Mouth, and your Eye ...  

Release your Jaw, and gently breathe, in and out.  

Continue breathing gently in through your nose and out through your mouth,  and out,  

Deep cleansing breaths...  

  Feel your connection with the Pachamama,  and know that
every breath you take connects you deeply with the Mother.  

And now in this PERFECTLY RELAXED STATE
we are going to take a magical journey to touch, see, or feel the special energy
of Machu Picchu--the Crystal City of Light,
and to feel (experience) the vibration of the ancient Rainbow People, the shining One's.  

We call upon Divine Source, Light, Love, higher Wisdom Mother Father God Goddess
to Light our Way.  

Imagine now,  

See it clearly...  

A tiny golden globe of Light in your Minds Eye...  

This tiny Golden Light slowly grows in brilliance, emitting such LOVE that you can
FEEL THE LOVE …  

Begin to embrace the fullness of this expansive Golden Light  

It becomes BRIGHTER and BRIGHTER , and 

Fuller and Fuller,  

Expanding,  

Illuminating,  

Shining,  

Shining with a Golden Vibration of Peace.  

You see and feel it’s shimmering brilliant golden rays
emerging from a pure white Source
connecting you with the Great Central Sun.  

This exquisite Light is gently pulsing in Brilliance...  

Beckoning you to, ENTER.  

You realize it is a DOORWAY  

And you are Standing at the THRESHOLD
GENTLY BREATHING IN GOLDEN LIGHT...  

and exhaling Golden Light...  

  And Breathing IN Golden Light...
And exhaling Golden Light...  

  You are becoming it and it is becoming you 

And Breathing IN Golden Light...  

And exhaling Golden Light...  

And you gently MERGE with this Brilliant Light  

And You find yourself at ONE with the Source of this Light  

You have ENTERED a SOLAR DOORWAY.  

[PAUSE, and continue Breathing. Commence the commentary when you are ready]  

And now ... as the Brightness clears  

You find yourself sitting on a green grassy ledge.
As you look around, you see a winding trail leading you along an ancient stone wall.  

You know this place…you remember….and you
You have entered the Sacred Sanctuary of the Incas, Machu Picchu.  

As you gaze across the Great Plaza you see the Torreon--ancient Temple of the Sun,
and as you gaze up higher, you spy the Great Temple of Three Windows
Place of Initiation 

And up, even higher, on the highest pyramid,
the Intihuatana Stone spirals into the sky, carved from the very earth itself,           
        anchoring Inti--the Divine Solar Source, with Pachamama--the Earth mother.  

You are comforted by this Raw Beauty and Form,
created for the Blessing of Spirit.  

You FEEL, SEE, AND KNOW the Special Energy of this Sacred Sanctuary.  

You are SURROUNDED by green velvet mountains--Putucusi, and Huyna Picchu --
abode of the Apus, Sacred Spirit of this Place.

In the Sky rise puffy white clouds against an aquamarine horizon.  

A tangible SCENT fills the air,
like the sweet smell of grass after a light rainfall.  

Around you, on the rock ledges are fragrant ORCHIDS
nodding gently in the light breeze.  

This Sanctuary--living stone, built for the Awakening of Spirit,
exudes LIFE! Caresses all your senses.  

Now, faintly, you hear the gurgle of running water!          
         You sense fresh streams RUNNING WITHIN THE EARTH under your feet
bubbling forth from sixteen cascading water-altars
flowing DOWN  

DOWN 

DOWN
to the lowest terrace  

FLOWING WATER 

CLEANSING WATER 

  LIVING WATER 

And you connect, ONCE AGAIN, with the Special Energy of Machu Picchu
emerging from within, and without in the form of cleansing water.  

Dipping your hand into the WATER, you slowly anoint your chakras  

RENEWING and
purifying your essence, YOUR LIGHT BODY
just as you did in Ancient Times...  

Remembering who you are.  

And you BEGIN TO REMEMBER.  

YOU REMEMBER 

You Remember the Ancient Wisdom held within these walls…  

YOU REMEMBER  

High above you,
circling over the cloud covered peaks,
appears a great Condor!  

She swoops near to you, and she is NOT alone,
she has given birth to a beautiful baby. And together they greet you,
acknowledging you as one of their own.  

ONE WHO'S COME HOME.  

And you KNOW this is a POWERFUL SIGN.
AND YOU REMEMBER.  

You Remember Old Stones
Wisdom Keepers.  

And they will help you, REMEMBER.  

REMEMBER.  

And, as you SIT UPON THE OLD STONES
A faint melody wafts through the air...  

Slowly 

Softly 

sounds of Incan Pipes drifting up from below
You turn to find its source ...  

And, in that exact moment
you see a BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW has just FORMED
arching across the velvet green mountain above you
shimmering bright colors!  

Such Beauty 

Such Radiance and color 

You KNOW it’s a special GIFT
just for YOU.  

Legend says that when the Rainbow appears
the Light Beings are PRESENT to Bless You.  

The Spirit of the Inca, the People of the Rainbow,
are here with you NOW.  

As you gaze at the colors
you begin to FEEL the RAINBOW  

You begin to BREATHE in the Color,
the taste and texture of the Frequency of Light!  

You breathe in The Red Ray aligning your root chakra, at the base of your spine
digging your toes into the grass, feeling your connection to Pachamama, the Earthmother.
See and feel this beautiful red light illuminating your first chakra    

You breathe in The Orange Ray aligning your sacral plexus, your 2nd Chakra,
as you delight in the loveliness of the moment and you feel it illuminating
and activating your 2nd Chakra,  

You breathe in The Yellow Ray aligning your solar plexus in your stomach area, your power center,
connecting you to the Great Solar Sun, and to the WORLD around you!
Pulling in the liquid light of the Solar Sun into your third Chakra.  

And you RELAX
Breathing in the COLORS OF THE RAINBOW
RED, ORANGE, YELLOW

AND YOU BREATHE 

You breathe in The Green Ray aligning your Heart
as you OPEN to Pure Divine, Joyful, Love!  

See your heart space filled with this beautiful green ray of light 

AND YOU REMEMBER  

You breathe in The Blue Ray aligning your Throat Chakra, the area of Divine Communication.  

And you RELEASE all blocks that have prevented you from SPEAKING YOUR TRUTH.
Pulling in the beautiful clear blue light cleansing your throat chakra.  

YOU ARE JOYFUL 

AND YOU REMEMBER 

You breathe in The Indigo Ray aligning your Brow Chakra,
opening your Spiritual Vision, YOUR SPIRITUAL SIGHT.  

AND YOU REMEMBER.  

YOU REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE.  
Seeing this Indigo ray of liquid  light infusing your brow chakra with clarity.  

And you BREATHE 

You breathe in The Violet Ray aligning your Crown Chakra with Divine Source,
see and feel this violet light filling your crown chakra
and you breathe in all that you are,
all that you ever were,
and all that you hope to be.  

You breathe in the Rainbow LIGHT
You breathe and MERGE with the LIGHT
YOU ARE PURE LIGHT  

YOU ARE THE CORE OF LIGHT 

TRANSCEND TIME AND SPACE  

INFINITE STATE OF BLISS 

PURE PERFECTION  

and you breathe 

BREATHE IN LIGHT 

BREATHE IN BLISS 

BREATHE IN PERFECTION 
and you breathe 

AND YOU REMEMBER 

YOU OPEN TO DIVINE WISDOM 

YOU BREATHE THE LIGHT OF WISDOM 

YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF WISDOM

[Pause the voice commentary here for as long as you like,
when you are ready, return to present awareness.]  

Quietly, as you EXHALE,
You begin to MOVE YOUR AWARENESS in TIME and SPACE
Slowly to the PRESENT 

TO THE PRESENT MOMENT 

…to the HERE and NOW.
Coming back fully into your body 

And you sit QUIETLY,
and INTEGRATE your journey into your PRESENT AWARENESS.  

You are PEACEFUL
AND BLISSFUL 

And you know that you can JOURNEY to this SACRED PLACE, any time.
