PERU! Journey of the Masters
Ancient Wisdom Teachings of the Andes
March 5, 2010
We still have a few spaces available for our upcoming trip to Peru.
Please join us!
Our next magical journey to the land of the Inkas is scheduled for April 24, 2010 including Machu Picchu, Cusco, Sacred Valley and Lake Titicaca, with post trips to the mysterious Stone Forest of Markawasi, and the enigmatic Lines of Nazca.
The Universe has entrusted us with the blessed task of creating a sanctified space in the Peruvian Andes for a great enactment of love, this devotion will be fully expressed through a series of ceremonies and meditations during our time together. This sacred offering anchors the highest frequencies needed for global birthing establishing the necessary foundation for the shifting of ages known as the tenth ‘Pachakuti’ according to Incan time-keepers.
Our journey begins in the trendy seaside suburb of Miraflores (Lima) where we rendezvous for our flight to Cusco, transferring directly to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. A stunning trip by rail takes us to the fabled Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, before embarking for Mama Cocha, Lake Titicaca. An optional trek to the Markawasi Stone Forest, fabled doorway to the paradisiacal Elysian realm, is scheduled, as is an overflight of the fabled Nazca Lines. We conclude with a private viewing of the Ica Stone Museum, and a cruise to the Ballesta isles, known as Peru’s little Galapagos.
Independent travel can be added for participants those who’d like to arrive early or stay late. Our 2010 trip is fully hosted and includes all accommodations, many meals as listed in the itinerary, transportation for all scheduled events, admission to all sites including Machu Picchu, a cruise on Lake Titicaca, plus Special Ceremonies with local medicine people and shamans; (2) domestic airline transfers within Peru are also provided. I hope that you will join us for this remarkable 20th Anniversary journey of Spirit!
With blessings,
Kathy

Kathy Doore is an author, publisher, and tour leader, she leads a yearly sojourn to the ancient sacred sites of the Andes. Nearly two decades ago during a late night visit within the inner sanctum of Machu Picchu, Kathy was catapulted headlong into a world of intrigue and mystery, suffered the "shamanic death" resulting in the spontaneous initiation of her lightbody--the uncoilng of the kundalini. Today Kathy facilitates others in their remembrance and awakening. As one who treads the ancient path, she is both an accomplished facilitator for journeys of the inner, and the outer landscape. She invites you to journey with her to the ancient sacred temples of Peru.
Joining us in 2010, our dear Peruvian soul sisters Maru and Vicky.
“…I continue to walk and learn each day, and thank the Universe for my blessings,
strengthening my commitment as a Warrior of Light.” ~ Maru
Maru is our official Peruvian host for this year's trip. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and conversational Italian, and with a huge heart and an inquisitive mind to match, she comes to us with an impressive background in the ethereal and healing arts encompassing Chakra Recoding and DNA re-patterning, Reiki, Vibrational Healing and Energetic Healing, and, she is also an Anusara Yoga practitioner. Maru is a founder of the Peruvian Permaculture Association, whose goal is to sustain indigineous habitats and assist in retrievinng ancient arts and knowledge. She has worked as coordinator and communications liaison between the office of the First Lady of Peru and Telefonica Foundation Ethnographic Museum and Cultural Centre and the Ministry of Peru, and she is active in international trade and tourism. Born into a well-established, 17th-generation family in Lima, Peru, Maru was educated in tourism--the family business, and obtained her Masters Degree in Tourism Business Administration from Universidad Pompeu Fabra IDEC (Barcelona), a post-graduate diploma in Cultural Tourism, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and Literature.
Vicky was born into a family of native medicinal healers at the lovely place of water, Lake Titicaca, where the Aymara and Quechua wisdom come together, where beautiful white-crowned mountains decorate marvelous landscapes along the shores of Q’ocha Mama. She takes great pleasure in sharing her Andean heritage, her beloved Pachamama, and Q’ocha Mama (mother Lake) with those pilgrims drawn to her shores, sharing her knowledge and following the oral traditions of her homeland.
“My mother’s grandmother was a healer from a small Quechua community, Tiquillaca, near Lake Titicaca. She gave me the gift of health after medical doctors could find no cure. She passed her knowledge on to my mother, teaching her how to heal using native plants and incense for blessing and cleansing houses of their heavy energies. She taught her the use of special ceremonies to care for livestock. Mother raised sheep, cows and llamas in the highlands where only ichu grass would grow, and I grew up helping her care for the animals and learning the old knowledge. I had interest in participating in the ancient ceremonies and learning the Andean spirituality. This included the knowledge and histories of animals, spirits, souls, and the Apus (protectors of the place). As a young girl I developed visionary skills and the ability to communicate with the spirit world, just as my grandmother had done. I also learned how to assist the souls who would ask for release from the “other” world. After completing my formal college education, I began my professional life as a tour guide, assisting others in awakening their dream. I invite you to journey with me.” ~ Vicky
Vicky has traveled with us for many years, and will join us along the shores of Mama Q'ocha.

POST TRIPS
THE MARKAWASI STONE FOREST
The oral histories of the indigenous peoples of the Americas say that we are now in the “great purification”, a period when the world clears away the old, creating the opportunity for new growth. Before the emergence into the next Age can take place, a purging of all that is imbalanced will occur, restoring the natural cycles of the planet, and of Life itself. The indigenous Elders see this not as a period of despair, but one of birthing, and bringing about a new and better world; a time to release the old ways, and embrace a global spirit of cooperation. They tell us that the solutions are before us, if only we have the eyes, and the wisdom to see them. They say that if we are to live this philosophy courageously we must become caretakers of our planet, and raise our own individual conscious state in order to succeed in raising the consciousness of the collective whole. The “Sacred Mountain” of Markawasi is one such place where the planetary restoration becomes intimately alive, and is enabled. Thus the process creates a healing, and a birthing ensues.
Markawasi Stone Forest rises majestically 12,800 feet above the world on the western Andean ridge; lying at its base along the Pacific coastline is the city of Lima, Peru. Punctuating the ancient landscape of this three-mile long tabletop mountain, are massive carved effigies, including curious replicas of unknown human races and long-extinct animals. Among the effigies may be found mind-boggling images of winged sphinxes, elephants, camels, and animals which are unknown to this age and continent. With its sixteen carved faces of the Races of Man, the massive Monument to Humanity stands out as the most spectacular and prominent structure dominating the landscape.
Scholars of ancient Andean mysteries believe the sculpted Peruvian plateau predates the Pre-ceramic Period of Peru and the great dynastic periods of Egypt, yet holds a direct link to the Isis Mysteries. How is this possible? With its mysterious and stunning monuments emulating, among other things, Egyptian deities, and with its claims of spontaneous healings, plus recorded testimony of ultra-dimensional visitors, the mysterious plateau is believed to be the remnant of a proto-historical culture previous to the Great Flood. Cocooned in oblivion for eons, and sculpted into the ancient landscape by a mysterious lost humanity, the Markawasi Stone Forest has reawakened at this pivotal moment in history. Markawasi details the true account of an ancient, lost humanity of mysterious origin, whose hidden legacy carved gigantic, towering, stone monuments, pointing to a message with predictions for the future.

THE NAZCA LINES & ICA STONES
Was there a plan, a purpose to the enormous sweep of swirls and spirals and geometric shapes that make up the Nazca plain? The enigma of the Nazca lines has been called one of the most baffling in all archaeology, shrouded in myth and mystery. Explore the mystery as we reveal the ancient magic of the Nazca lines and the enigmatic, ancient Carved Stones of Ica, record of a vanished civilization with space-faring capability.
The Ancients of the Nazca Plains breathed life into the parched Peruvian wasteland with incredible indelible artworks created across hundreds of square miles of the desert surface. Their canvas called the Pampa Colorada meaning Red Plain for the reddish-brown stones that characterize its surface, is a plateau 37 miles long and l5 miles wide - a huge chalkboard. On it is etched works of monumental proportion, a montage of geometric formations called “geoglyphs” with whimsical portrayals of animals, birds, and human forms in astronomical alignments, star-maps, and labyrinths! Neither carved nor painted these images represent artistry of another medium - by clearing away the dark, rust-colored surface stones and exposing the light-colored sub-soil beneath, marvelous patterns were created in the contrasting soil.
Runways, and thousands of criss-crossing, zig-zagging, radiating, oscillating, and parallel lines ranging in widths from six inches to over six feet in every direction! Some extend as far as six miles continuing ever-straight and unbroken over valleys and hills! Figures of fanciful birds - l8 different kinds creating a veritable aviary in the mixed menagerie that prowls the pampa. The giant curly tailed monkey would fill a football stadium. The long lizard is twice the monkeys length. And the spider, small by comparison, covers 150’ of the desert floor and is believed by some to represent an alignment to the constellation of Orion! Agriculture was the center of Nazca life and everything seemed to flow from it. The Lines themselves may have been built for that purpose, intended for rituals, to insure crop fertility, predict the seasons, and align with the stars. Although the Nazca civilization flourished between 200 B.C. and 600 A.D. no one really knows the origins of the ancient designers of the Nazca Lines. These markings on the vast plateau are enduring monuments to the creative ingenuity of the ancients.![]()

Dr. Javier Cabrera was best known for his research into the mystery of the Ica Stones, and postulated that ancient "Gliptolithic man", knew of existing life in distant stars and had technical devices for space travel without the use of fuel consumption as we know it. Several stones in this collection of more then 15,000 carved rocks, show images drawn on the plains of Nazca that Cabrera interprets as an ancient "spaceport" based on the harness of electromagnetic energy for propulsion of space faring vehicles. He suggests that the earth at that time was vastly different then it is now, with 80% landmass, and very little water. The planetary situation suffered due to an increase in the level of the heating of the atmosphere, and from the fact that solar energy could not escape the vapor mist which blocked the outward radiation. Gliptolithic man attempted to manipulate the biological cycles of nature but eventually cataclysm resulted in tectonic shifts, massive floods, and the movement of the continents.
As the ancient civilization prepared to depart Earth they chose as their destination a planet in a system belonging to the star cluster Pleiades that they knew well, it was their original homeland. A large stone in Cabrara's library shows the hemispheres of that planet having intelligent life and space faring capability.
One extraordinary stone depicts a man staring at the heavens through a telescope projecting his "cognitive energy" into the cosmos to capture a great quantity of energy, symbolize by diagrams of pyramids. This energy was used for storage, accumulation, and distribution of an unknown “force” which could be released outwards into the cosmos to influence celestial events.
The huge stone is carved in four sections depicting a sequence of interstellar proportion - A fantastic comet following an unusual trajectory (which produced catastrophic disturbances) , a ring shape eclipse of the sun, the planets Jupiter, Venus, the Horse Head Nebula, and thirteen constellations including the Pleiades. Cabrera believes the energy provided by the comet was utilized to "hitch a ride" via their craft for their homeland, which was in the trajectory of the comet.
