A huge mysterious door-like structure in the Hayu Marca
mountain region of Southern Peru near Lake Titicaca, 65 kilometres from the
city of Puno, has
long been revered by local indians as the "City of the Gods." Although no actual city has ever been
discovered, it is part of an area known as a Valley of the Spirits, or Stone Forest, made of strange rock formations that resemble animals, beings, buildings, dinosaurs,
and artificial
structures. The door or the "Puerta de Hayu Marca" (Gate of the Gods) has been, at
some time in the distant past, carved out of a natural rock face and in all, measures exactly
23' in height and width, with a smaller alcove in the center at the
base which measures in at just under 6' in height.
LEGENDS
The native indians of the region had a legend that
spoke of "a gateway to the lands of the Gods", and in that legend, it was said that in times
long past great heroes had gone to join their gods, and passed through the gate for a
glorious new life of immortality, and on rare occasions those men returned for a short
time with their gods to "inspect all the lands in the kingdom" through the gate.
Another legend tells of the time when the Spanish Conquistadors arrived in Peru and
looted gold and precious stones from the Inca tribes. According to one legend presented in the book, Secret of the Andes by Brother Philip, (as channeled by author/contactee, George Hunt Williamson, "Road in the Sky" -- Markawasi), one Incan priest of the Temple
of the Seven Rays named Amaru Meru (Aramu Muru) fled from his temple with a sacred
golden disk known as "the key of the
gods of the seven rays", and hid in the mountains of Hayu
Marca. He eventually came upon the doorway which was being watched by shamen
priests. He showed them the key of the gods and a ritual was performed with the
conclusion of a magical occurrence initiated by the golden disk which opened the portal,
and according to the legend blue light did emanate from a tunnel inside. The priest Amaru
Meru handed the golden disk to the shamen and then passed through the portal "never to
be seen again". Archeologists have observed a small hand sized circular depression on
the right hand side of the small entranceway, and have theorized that this is where a small
disk could be placed and held by the rock.
VISIONS OF STARS
According to some individuals who have lain their hands on the small door, a feeling of
energy flowing has been commented on as well as strange experiences such as visions
of stars, columns of fire, and the sounds of unusual rhythmic music. Others have said that
they have perceived tunnels on the interior of the structure, although nobody as yet has
found a gap that would illustrate the door opening. On the contrary the professional
opinion is that there is no actual door, for the frame and the entranceway and the back of
the alcove are all carved from the same rock.
It is interesting to note that the structure undeniably resembles the Gate of the Sun at
Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) and five
other archeological sites which link together a cross by imaginary straight
lines crossing each other exactly at the point where the plateau and
Lake Titicaca are located. Locals report glowing blue spheres and bright white and rainbow-colored objects sighted over the Lake. The
aforementioned legend concludes with a prophecy that the door of the gods will one day open
"many times bigger than it actually is" and allow the gods to return in their Sun Ships.
Peruvian prophecy states that all the Americas were once united by a common spiritual tradition and leader, and that they will be again. We were anciently united as Amaru-ca or Ameru-ca, Ameri-ca, meaning the “Land of the Serpent”, during a time when the serpent was the universal symbol of mystical wisdom and spiritual power. One legend states that North and South America were named after a culture bearer known historically as Aramu Muru or Amaru (serpent/wisdom) the “Serpent (wisdom master) Meru,” with connections to the mythical Mount Meru, abode of the Demi-Gods.
Aramu Muru came from the ancient continent of Mu with many power objects, including the powerful Solar Disc that had previously hung in an important temple in his homeland. He also brought many sacred rites and symbols, like the chacana, the stair-stepped cross, that after being taken by missionaries to all the four directions served to unite the Americas into a homogenous spiritual culture. Legends state that Aramu Muru assisted many Native American tribes after they arrived in Peru during the time of the destructions of Mu (Lemuria) and the Old Red Land (Atlantis). He then united these tribes into a very advanced culture that proceeded to build many of the towering megalithic temples that still adorn the landscape of Peru today. Although most have forgotten these ancient connections, the spirit of Aramu Muru has never left, and continues to watch over all the Americas from The Illumination Temple located above and within Lake Titicaca. Moreover, the great Solar Disc of Mu is also said to still continue to exist and believed to be located within the realm of the sacred lake.
Since 1992, when the Pachacuti or “World Transformation” anciently prophesied by the Incas first commenced, Aramu Muru and the Illumination Temple have made their presence known. The Solar Disc has begun emanating powerful streams of spiritual light that will eventually unite the Americas.

World Reviewer July 2010-- Bolivian ruins of Tiwanaku at Lake Titicaca with precision diamond-cut stonework predate the presumed migration of indigenous peoples into the New World over the Bering Strait by several thousand years. The oldest city on Earth may be in Bolivia.
Once on the coast of sacred Lake Titicaca, but now twelve miles inland, the enigmatic site of Tiwanakuwas the source of the creation myths, the social orders, and the sophisticated preoccupation with astronomy that informed thousands of years of Andean culture. The mystery of Tiwanakuis that the construction geometry of some of its structures - and the astronomical alignments of those structures in relationship to each other - indicate a possible erection period far more ancient than any other monumental archaeological site in South America.
Tiahuanaco, whose original name is Taypicala or 'Rock in the Center,' has four surviving primary structures, called the Akapana pyramid, the Kalasasaya platform, the Subterranean temple, and the Puma Punku. The Akapana pyramid, sometimes called the sacred mountain of Tiahuanaco, is precisely oriented to the cardinal directions and has an extremely sophisticated system of interlinked surface and subterranean channels. The structure known as the Puma Punka appears to be the remains of a great pier and this makes sense for Lake Titicaca long ago lapped upon the shores of Tiahuanaco. One of the construction blocks from which the pier was fashioned weighs an estimated 440 tons (equal to nearly 600 full-size cars) and several other blocks are between 100 and 150 tons. The quarry for these giant blocks was on the western shore of Titicaca, some ten miles away. There is no known technology in the ancient Andean world that could have transported stones of such massive weight and size. The Andean people of 500 AD, with their simple reed boats, could certainly not have moved them.
Nearby the Akapana pyramid is the Kalasasaya compound, a structure whose design and celestial alignment suggests a great antiquity for Tiahuanaco. Arthur Posnansky, a German-Bolivian scholar, exhaustively studied Tiwanakufor almost fifty years. Posnansky conducted precise surveys of all the principal structures of Tiahuanaco, including the Kalasasaya compound, which is delineated by a series of vertical stone pillars. Utilizing his measurements of sight lines along these pillars, the celestial orientation of the Kalasasaya, and its purposely-intended deviations from the cardinal points, Posnansky was able to show the alignment of the structure was based upon an astronomical principle called the obliquity of the ecliptic. His findings strongly suggest that its initial construction was around 15,000 BC, and this date was later confirmed by a team of four astronomers from various universities in Germany. Equally astonishing, the spatial arrangement of Tiahuanaco's four main structures -- relative to one another and to the stars above -- indicates that the initial site engineers had an advanced knowledge of astronomy, geomancy and mathematics.
Adding to this mystery are the ancient myths of Tiwanaku which tell of its founding and use in a time before great floods. Scientific research has proved that a cataclysmic flood did indeed occur some 12,000 years ago. Mixed in with the deepest layers of flood alluvia at Tiwanaku are human bones, utensils and tools, showing human use of the site prior to the great flood. There is also the intriguing enigma of the strange carvings of bearded, non-Andean people that are found around the site, replete with sculptural and iconographic details which are unique in the western hemisphere.
All of this evidence seems to indicate that the original Tiwanaku civilization flourished many thousands of years before the period assumed by conventional archaeologists.
Rather than rising and falling during the two millennia around the time of Christ, Tiwanaku may have existed during a vastly older period, some 17,000 years ago. The implications of this are truly stunning. Tiwanaku may be, along with Teotihuacan in Mexico, Baalbek in Lebanon, and the Great Pyramid in Egypt, a surviving fragment of a long lost civilization.
